Last week, hundreds of people across the country marched for Medicaid and the human right to healthcare — from Madison, WI, to Fayetteville, NC, to Wilkes-Barre, PA — in a national week of action coordinated by the Nonviolent Medicaid Army.

Here in Vermont, we marched and rallied in Bellows Falls, Burlington, St. Johnsbury, and Barre to reject the privatization of Vermont’s healthcare system under OneCare Vermont and demand the expansion of Medicaid to everyone as a public good.

Kicking off the rally
Walking down the hill
Unite the poor!
Through downtown...
Through Bellows Falls
And towards the river...
Across the canal
Arriving at the Way Station
Mads addressing the crowd
J.R. addressing the crowd
Everybody's got a right to live

And Friday evening rallies in Barre, St. Johnsbury, and Burlington.
